What to stream

If you're thinking of redeeming this offer, but don't know what shows or TV you will enjoy, you've come to the right place. The Shop TODAY team is constantly chatting in the office about the latest TV shows, reality TV drama and movies. Our editors had a lot to say when asked what their favorite show was on Peacock. So let's dive into it below:

  • Reality TV: Peacock is a reality TV fan's oasis with all the Bravo shows and even more niche reality TV. Associate Editor, Allie Wise says, "love catching up on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills! It’s my guilty pleasure after a day at the office! As an East Coast gal, I get to live the LA lifestyle vicariously through these wealthy women." Commerce Editor Emma Stessman is also a fan of reality TV, noting, "The Traitors!!!! I've been playing the game mafia with my younger cousins for years, so it's so fun to see it brought to life in that way. I mean, the challenges, the outfits, Alan Cumming and all the best of the best of reality TV. How could you not love it?"
  • Series TV: If you are looking for a gritty drama or a classic comedy show, Peacock has a ton of those. Commerce writer, Danielle Murphy, was a fan of the new series "The Day of the Jackal" for being "So fun. So intense. I love a good action movie or show, and this one kept me on my toes every single episode." I (Annie Shigo) am a huge fan of SVU and whenever I am in doubt about what to watch, I turn on an episode. It is one of the only shows that has stayed consistent in great content for years. And before you ask... yes, you can watch "The Office" on Peacock!
  • Movies: Life gets busy between a job, your family and social events, so you might not have time to make it to the movies to watch new releases. This was the case for me with the "Wicked" movie. I was shocked at how fast it came to streaming, and I love getting to be one of the first to see it on streaming.
  • Sports: My dad is a huge golf fan, so he loves Peacock for its ability to let him watch golf 24/7. I love soccer, so I often watch the Premier League whenever a good game is on. And of course, it is great for the Olympic Games where you can watch each event by sport.
